This documentary follows the marriage of Museum Hermitage Amsterdam and the city’s Hortus Botanicus. Because Hermitage has too much heat. And the old monumental greenhouses of Hortus need just that. Conversely the Hermitage will receive cold from the Hortus, which it has in surplus.

In this film, initiated by Green Film Making, we get to see two leading institutes join hands and close their cycles together. In this way, the city of Amsterdam is preparing for the future. So that its residents can continue to enjoy their relaxation and inspiration from the richness of shared culture in the Hermitage Amsterdam, and the richness of nature in the Hortus Botanicus.
