The title of Green Film Maker of the Year 2012 went to Trent from NFI Productions who together with Anielle Webster produced the film ‘LEVEN’.
On June 1st 2012 the Evening of the Green Film took place at EYE in Amsterdam. Many a director, producer, actor and actress made their debut to witness the first finale of the Green Filmmaking Competition. Six finalists were part of the
challenging battle to make a good movie, produced in the most sustainable way possible.
The first prize consists of the honorary div ´Green Film MakerRobes de mariée Empire
of the Year` and the great sum of 20,000 euros provided by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation. The jury of the Green Filmmaking Competition found in LEVEN (Dutch for; Life) a Trompette & robes de mariée Mermaid rich and full film that deeply touches in variety of ways.
The winning team showed that they came to fully embrace sustainability. The jury is confident that NFI Productions will apply their Green Film Making Competition acquired knowledge about sustainable alternatives to subsequent productions.The jury commented, “We witnessed concrete steps in terms of the sustainability of production processes. After an initial ‘progress meeting’ some of us thought that maybe it would remain with the proverbial bicycle and organic sandwich. But now it has become clear that the competition has brought forth pioneers who have put clear and concrete steps, and seem determined to continue with this. “
