On Tuesday January 21 we kicked off the year with the first Dutch Green Filmmaking Project workshop of 2014 that we organized in Hub Impact Amsterdam and Het Ketelhuis. About 70 Dutch Kort! and ONS (One Night Stand) film professionals got inspired by sustainability experts such as Klaas van Egmond (Dutch professor of Geosciences at University Utrecht), Carlijn Lindemulder (Sustainability Director ID&T) and Nicola Knoch (CSR advisor ‘Buddy’) who shared their vision on how to produce films in greener ways.

Chai Locher, project manager at the Green Filmmaking Project: “at the start of the Green Filmmaking Project in 2012 we gathered around twenty people in a room. We are very excited that we need to move to larger venues at this point. It is our aim to ensure that producers and filmmakers can create room for their sustainable ideals in their daily work.”
We are really looking forward to the innovative steps of this next generation of filmmakers – the future of the Dutch Film Industry is looking green & great!
